Lookie Loops – Carol Chenot
Art in the Park at Dinosaur Caves Vendor
Carol began Lookie Loops in 2016 simply as a matter of eonvenience. She was always losing her sunglasses in the bottom of her big bag. So she invented a unique pouch that loops onto any strap or handle… and the Lookie Loops was born! Friends saw them and wanted one, of course … and had many suggestions for how to make them even more functional.
They now come in different sizes, as a crossbody, with wallets and travel bags. The latest invention is a zippered pouch with adiustabie strap that goes around your book to hold pens, readers, etc.
Lookie Loops are made in Arroyo Grande, with fabric sourced from around the world. There are lots of fun patterns and desiqns, and something that makes Lookie Loops so special are the combinations of patterns offered.
The company has grown 50% year over year with the goal of 2019 being exceptional! Carol fills her days either fulfillinq online orders, sewing, or working as a sub for SLO County with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Program.
